A.B.I. - About Being Innovative
At A.B.I. Horseboxes Ltd we build top quality, robust, affordable and desirable Equine
Transport, built using the latest and most up-to-date products , offering 5 star
accomodation with the safety of your most precious cargo in mind - first and foremost.
We know and understand what people and horses want in a horsebox, and why they want it.
Having owned horses and ponies for more than 30 years, competed with our horses at the
highest level, and holding BHS qualifications, we know about horses and more importantly
their needs. All our staff are time served craftsmen, who have been building horseboxes for
over 25 years. We are a family company and are able to offer you our one-on-one personal
service, in order to create the perfect vehicle for you and your horses.
A.B.I. Horseboxes offer a fully coachbuilt insulated LIGHTWEIGHT alloyed body - hand built
from the chassis upwards - Many of our orders are bespoke, built to meet your allocated
budget, and whatever your requirements we will work closely with you to meet them.
We can FULL or PART build a lorry for you, built to your budget, so that any extras and
upgrades can be fitted at a later date. We now also offer a Full Refurbishment, Upgrade
and Repair Service.
The approximate build time for one of our vehicles is in the region of 6 - 8 weeks, which is
dependent on the build type and specifications chosen.
The spray colour can take up to 14 days, as our Paint Finish is Hot Baked and High Gloss
Lacquered for a superb end result. You can select either Metallic or Flat Paint and there’s
a vast portfolio of Colours and Air Brushed Designs / Stripes etc. to choose from. We can
even give you the option and flexibility to design your own Paint Finish, and then our
experienced Paint Shop will interpret your design onto the exterior of your vehicle.
We can build on your chassis or choose one of our pre-owned, low mileage ones . If you
choose one of our chassis we buy no older than 2004 registration, and therfore at a
minimum of Euro 3 Emmissions Rating. All our chassis comply with the Greater London
Low Emmision Zone.
The majority of our vehicles are built on Brand New Chassis - which come with a minimum of 2 years Munufacturers warranty - for peace of mind.
Every A.B.I. Horsebox Body comes with a Fully Comprehensive 6 Month Warranty, and if the
chassis are bought from us, they come with 12 months MOT, Full Service History, 3 Months
Manufacturers Warranty and a Full B Service on the chassis/cab before delivery as Standard.
